JUICING
If Dr. DeBavelaere suggests juicing as part of your treatment, here is our recipe:
We use only organic fruits and vegetables. The vitamins from these are easier to assimilate and more abundant than in traditional fruits and vegetables.
Depending on the kind of juicer you own, you may or may not have to peel the fruits and vegetables; carrots, apple, ginger and red beet.
Carrot
Fortifies, mineralizes, is anti-anaemic (helps to increase red blood cells)is an immune system booster, a growth factor, an intestinal transit regulator, is anti putrid, depurative, it biliary promotes fluidity of the blood, it is a cough preventer, a diuretic, it aids in the lactation process, it is a vermifuge, it is rejuvenating and it helps in the healing of wounds.
Celery
Stimulates appetite, stimulates the stomach, is a tonic, stimulates the suprarenal bodies, helps with remineralization, is antiscorbutic, depurative, a blood regenerator, it is antimalarial, a diuretic, is anti rheumatic, it drains the lungs and liver, it is antiseptic, and is slimming.
Apple
Apple is a muscular and nerve tonic, a diuretic, is anti rheumatic, lowers bad cholesterol, is digestive, it strengthens the stomach, is an intestinal antiseptic, a decongestive of the liver, a laxative, a blood depurative and is rejuvenating.
Red Beet
Red Beet helps with Cancer prevention, is anti-anemic and re mineralizing, (not to be taken by diabetics)
Ginger
Controls nausea, is anti-inflammatory. It is a botanical relative of marjoram and turmeric. It is a wonderful digestive aid. Ginger helps neutralize stomach acids enhance the secretion of digestive juices and tone the digestive tract. It limits flatulence, is a natural antihistamine (minimizes common cold symptoms) and decongestant.
