Unpolished quinoa (grain very rich in protein). Soak briefly in water to remove any saponin residue. Quinoa is a grain from Peru closely related to amaranth. It contains lysine in abundance and also more iron than most grains. |

Spelt sourdough bread and unsliced King’s grain bread made at Bernie’s bakery are considered the best by us.
